Urban Spaces are at the heart of the IoT ‘evolution’; the combination of unique resource, economic and environmental challenges present an ideal ecosystem for IoT innovation.
Reflecting this, the Urban IoT is once again at the centre of Smart IoT London 2017
In partnership with Innovate UK, the KTN and Future Cities Catapults, smart city project leaders from around the UK and leading academics.
Smart IoT London sets out to highlight how, through the lens of some of the most progressive IoT programmes developed for the urban environment, intelligent technologies and applications will benefit citizens, businesses, policy makers and planners.
In 2017, the opportunities for delegates to participate in knowledge-share, collaboration across national and international markets and access to investment opportunities are being expanded. In particular, the Urban IoT Showcase will be shining a light on where the value lies, hearing from leading organisations and projects on successful Smart City business models and how value can be realized through go to market strategies, whilst bringing together the parties to make this happen.
Our Urban IoT programme incorporates all the key technological, security, operational, commercial and regulatory considerations, as well as highlighting four broad streams of Smart City service delivery: Smart mobility; Connected homes and building technologies; Smart utilities; health, wellbeing and social care
The content is tailored towards key stakeholders in smart city development, and is a must-attend ticket for local authority representatives, planners and programme leads, technology buyers and public and private sector service delivery providers.
What's it all about?
- Be inspired and informed by case studies from leading smart city projects around Europe
- Understand the benefits: smart city technology is already helping councils to address a significant growth in population, businesses and visitors, increased demand for services, and the need to minimise the impact on physical, natural and financial resources.
- Find out how to navigate the challenges, whether they are related to technology, finance, governance, consortia management, the regulatory environment or citizen stakeholder engagement.
- Network and find collaboration opportunities with others, who are planning, designing, implementing or managing smarter systems for towns and cities, including: CFOs, procurement managers, programme managers, council leads, city data strategists, policy leads and managers for the delivery of key citizen services.
We’ll be announcing new partnership and smart city projects for the showcase shortly.
